Impulse Handbell Ensemble

Improve your overall musicianship by studying the art of handbell ringing. Students enrolled in this class may be included in IMPULSE, our advanced touring handbell choir. Members must be ages 14-18 and have prior AGEHR Level 3+ ringing experience. This class’/ensemble’s aim is to gain an advanced music education, perform regularly, record, and tour in the summer.
Students will…
- learn advanced ringing techniques, such as shelley, four-in-hand, and more, to take them to a new level of ringing expertise
- Play multiple positions (Treble and Bass)
- improve music theory skills
- have fun performing for local events
- engage in team building
- earn community service
- and most importantly, look good on a college application!
$79/mo. – Class is held at Old Brick Church (490 Rt. 520, Marlboro, NJ 07746)
Meeting Wednesdays from 6:00-8:00 PM Year-Round. (Limited to 14 ringers)
The class will be taught by Ryan Guth.
